Nokia lumia 800The Lumia 800 is crafted out of a single piece of polycarbonate and as a result is as light as a feather. At the bottom of the Nokia Lumia 800, there's a speaker. We didn't hear the sound quality of the Nokia Lumia 800, and with the speaker's size, we don't expect it to pack the loudest sound, but at least the music can be heard whether you have the facing screen up or down. There's the usual earphone jack at the top and a microUSB connection for charging and connecting to your computer. he screen is a ClearBlack display and it's slightly domed. This makes it feel as though the Windows Phone interface is jumping out at you and feels all the better for it. However, it does attract fingerprints, as does the Lumia 800's whole finish. Around the back and you'll find an 8-megapixel Carl Zeiss camera. Apparently, it lets more light in than other cameras. We didn't really see this (and we're not sure if it will be particularly handy), but the camera quality is top notch – as you'd expect from Nokia. The thing most people are looking forward to with the Nokia Lumia 800 though is the Windows Phone operating system. Nokia has left this pretty much alone, probably because Microsoft is militant on this point, but as big fans of the Windows Phone interface and platform as whole, this is no bad thing. |
